An outdoor cosy-brick living room, of sorts. Comfy seating. Shady spots. A morning paper and strong cup of coffee in hand, the warmth of midday lunch. Then: a rooftop bar. Bar snacks, beers, savouries, curries, cocktails. Enjoy the breeze of delicious revelry.
The Summerhouse Negroni. Burnt orange with the sun, it slips down nicely with Peanut Masala and crunchy Chakli. Local beers, a Feni Martini, or delicious teetotals, all made for a bold menu of drinking food. A quick drink, light bite, or long, leisurely night – the Aunty Bar is open to all. And for the morning after: piping hot House Chai and a Breakfast Naan Roll awaits. Or the silkiest ice-cream sandwich in the afternoon.
Permit Room is mostly for walk-ins – but we do hold some tables for reservations. Our Aunty Bar roof terrace is bookable during the warmer months (when it's not raining) – just leave us a note when making your booking and we'll do our best to save you a spot.
